To kick 2019 into gear AKG have released an exciting new line of products at CES 2019. New additions to AKG’s already well-equipped wireless microphone/instrument range are the DMS100 and DMS300 digital wireless systems.
These new systems bring rich feature sets into AKG’s digital wireless range at very affordable price points. Both the DMS100 and DMS300 systems provide superb 24bit/48kHz audio quality and the handheld microphones utilize AKG’s P5 capsules for genuine quality and performance. Each system operates on the reliable and licence-free 2.4GHz range, include built-in AES 256-bit encryption for optimum security of the systems and are presented in a clean, easy to operate design.
The DMS100 allows for four co-existing systems to be run simultaneously, whilst the DMS300 allows for eight simultaneous systems. Both systems have adaptive channel selection for easy set up (the DMS300 includes multiple system synch via RJ-45 jack) and both boast a 30 metre (100 foot for imperial boffins) operating range and 12-hour battery life using 2x AA batteries.
There are two variants available for each range. A receiver and transmitter configuration (which can also be used with AKG headsets or clip-on mics) or a receiver and microphone configuration. Both systems are ideally suited for a wide variety of applications from live sound, public speaking, business presentations, houses of worship and much more.
Both systems are due to arrive in Australia in April/May 2019.
