With a brand-new look and design, AKG has released two new sets of headphones dubbed the K361 and K371. Both sport a sleek, modern styling and aesthetic, and pack serious professional quality and features, as expected from one of Europe’s most revered headphone and microphone brands.
AKG has done a significant amount of research and development for these headphones and took much consideration as to what people are wanting out of a set of headphones, from novice users to experienced professionals. Ideally suited for music producers, content creators, podcasting, game streaming, studio monitoring and mixing, plus general listening, these new headphones are a no brainer. - Both models are a closed-back, over the ear design with oval-shaped earpads, featuring AKG’s soft retention earpads, for superior isolation and comfort for long listening sessions.
- Both boast 50mm drivers, which are the largest in their class. Delivering superior performance and extended frequency response. The K361 produces a 15Hz – 28kHz response, whilst the K371 are a whopping 5Hz – 40kHz. Both are rated at 32 ohms, for use with any playback device.
- The K361 comes accompanied with two detachable straight cables, 3m and 1.2m, with mini-jack connectors. The K371 comes with three detachable cables, two straight 3m and 1.2m and one coiled 3m cable, each with a mini XLR connection. A 1/8” to 1/4” adaptor is included for both models, as well as a stylish, protective carry pouch.
- Each model is a notched foldable design, easily fitting any size or shaped head, with maximum comfort in mind. The compact form factor allows them to be quickly folded and packed away for those on the move.
To summarise, the new K361 and K371 are two nifty new offerings from AKG, which spec beautifully, look and feel great and come bundled with a handful of integral accessories.
