There’s a lot happening under the hood of Pro Tools lately – new workflows, post-production updates, and tools that are making the DAW smarter and more intuitive for the way people work today. If you’re curious about what’s new or want to level up your post chops, Avid is rolling into Sydney and Melbourne next month with two free masterclasses designed to get you up to speed.
Whether you’re in post, music, broadcast or live, these sessions are a great chance to get in the room with Avid specialists, ask questions, and see the new features in action.

What’s On the Agenda?
Each session will dive into the latest Pro Tools updates – including new post-production tools, Dolby Atmos workflows, collaboration features, and time-saving tricks that aren’t just for big studios. If you’re the kind of person who likes pressing buttons while someone’s showing you what they do, good news: there’ll be hands-on demo stations too.

Two Pros. One Masterclass. All Things Pro Tools.
This exclusive masterclass goes far beyond “what’s new in this Pro Tools update”. It’s a deep dive into the art of making meaningful sound decisions, from the raw recording stage through to the final mix. Drew and Dan will also unpack:
- What makes “good” sound design — and why it’s more than just plugins.
- How to edit and repair dialogue for clarity and impact.
- Why quality gear still matters — and how to use it with confidence.
- The mindset behind decisive, creative choices in high-pressure environments.
Expect sharp insights, lived experience, and a few hot takes. Whether you’re shaping soundscapes or managing the mix, this is your chance to explore the balance between creativity, technology and taste — with two pros who’ve been there, done that, and are still leading the way.

Why Go?
Aside from free entry and free knowledge, this is a great excuse to meet other audio humans, chat directly with Avid team members, and scope out what’s possible in the latest Pro Tools environment. Whether you’re freelance, studio-based or studying, there’s a takeaway here.
Spots are limited, so register ahead and show up ready to push some faders.
