NAMM 2020 – Denon DJ’s New Prime Players Integrate Advanced Music Streaming

Browse By

It’s been 3 years since Denon DJ released the SC5000 Prime media player, that was largely seen as a powerful alternative to Pioneer DJ’s CDJ monopoly. Now, with the 2020 NAMM show only days away Denon DJ has announced the SC6000 and SC6000M media players to join their ranks of DJ gear.

The new series of media players offers advanced music streaming integration thanks to its built-in WIFI and Ethernet capabilities. User can now log directly into their respective accounts to access their pre-made playlists, with selected tracks being buffered directly into the player to avoid interruptions from internet dropouts.

Other new features include a stunning new 10” multi-touch gesture display, large 8.5” platters with the SC6000M being motorized, an internal HDD to store music onboard and standalone track preview from the menu browsing section. Check out our Namm video.
