But what is even more exciting is that all of these affordable microphones are now compatible with the new Hemisphere mic modelling software plug-in which gives you the authentic sound of essential condensers from Neumann, Sony, AKG, and more — in realtime with UA Apollo Interfaces or natively in your DAW*. This allows you to do things like shape the sound of your recordings using filter, proximity, and axis controls — even after tracking… awesome!

The SC-1 classic condenser microphone with the help of the Hemisphere Mic Modelling software will be perfect for vocals, acoustic guitar, strings, and even a loud guitar cab thanks to its high SPL handling. Plus, going by its specs its extended dynamic range will ensure distortion-free results in both low and high frequencies.
So what is the Hemisphere mic modelling Plug-In?
It uses the same award-winning tech as Universal Audio’s UA Sphere modelling microphones which is a fantastic tool to have up your sleeve when using the SC-1.. but wait there’s more! The UA SD-1 & SP-1 microphones are now also compatible with the Hemisphere Mic Modelling plug-in which makes this collection of microphones a great addition to any studio.
