It’s been a busy week for Arturia. The last two days has seen them release two brand new synthesisers, the Minibrute 2 and 2s, with the promise of one last surprise — and it is a welcome surprise indeed. Today Arturia announced the RackBrute, a series of Eurorack cases designed to compliment the two new brutes.
Besides being incredibly stylish with a metal and wood construction, the RackBrute cases can be configured 6 different ways depending on your need. Via Arturia’s “RackBrute ready” system, multiple RackBrutes are able to be attached to one another or may be physically connected to the new Minibrutes. The units are even capable of folding down into a protective transport mode for when you need to take them on the road.
The cases come in two sizes, a 3U (88 hp) and 6U (176 hp). Both models come complete with an included power module and power rails with noise filtering.
Arturia hopes that RackBrute will provide a simple all-in-one solution for people looking to get into Eurorack modular or for those looking to expand on their current setup.
