Noisegate Social Club is back, and what a month we have ahead! November promises heaps of music goodies, festivals and other special events to wrap your senses around.

Melbourne Music Week

When: Thursday 14th – Saturday 23rd November

Where: Various venues across Melbourne

One of the most exciting weeks of music is back in Melbourne this November with a scorching line up of local, national and international artists. A mixture of ticketed and free gigs, talks, workshops and more take place at select venues around the city and feature the likes of Stonefield, Ainslie Wills, Ladi 6 (NZ), Loose Tooth, U-Bahn, BATPISS, Shrimpwitch, Radio Slave (GER), Rainbow Chan, Lisa Salvo to name but a small handful.

We’re always really excited with what Melbourne Music Week has to offer, so keep an eye out for extra info and announcements they may have. Here’s a little appetizer in the meantime.

Loose Tooth


When: Friday 1st – Saturday 2nd November

Where: State Theatre Centre of WA

The annual Western Australian “learn-fest” is back bringing in a wealth of local, national and international representatives sharing their insights and knowledge in a variety of keynote presentations, panels, workshops, masterclasses, networking events and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to converse with booking agencies, record labels, publishing companies, artist management and many other experts in the industry. As many would agree, an opportunity not to be missed.

Peel Street Festival

When: Saturday 9th November

Where: Peel Street, Collingwood

This FREE, local favourite of the Collingwood community is back again with a stellar line up of music and a day packed full of family fun. Catch HEXDEBT, Sui Zhen (solo), The Merindas, Gordon Koang, Drmngnow and more. Presented by Grace Darling Hotel, Collarts, PBS 106.7FM and others.

Songwriters Helping Songwriters

When: Sunday 10th and Sunday 17th November

Where: Bakehouse Studios, Richmond

Join an experienced panel of songwriters including Jessica Paige, Jake Maso, Tania Doko, James Roche and Eric McCusker where you, fellow songwriters can pitch your songs and ideas in both workshop and seminar days.

Electronic Music Conference

When:  Wednesday 13th – Sunday 17th November

Where: Sydney

The annual EMC is back in Sydney this year with a plethora of keynotes, panels, workshops and more from some of the industries best and brightest. Be sure to expect cutting edge ideas being discussed over a wide variety of industry-related topics.

Don’t miss EMC LIVE as well, taking place on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th at The Lansdowne, featuring some of the most promising electronic talent in Australia right now.

Reservoir Stomp

When: Sunday 17th November

Where: Preston/Reservoir Bowls Club

Boogie in the burbs as this local family-friendly fav returns guaranteeing good vibes and one hell of a line-up! Enjoy food trucks, barefoot bowls comps with an indoor and outdoor stage too boot, featuring Remi, Cookin’ on 3 Burners , the Wolfgramm Sisters, Pony Face, Tek Tek and a whole lot more!

Music Victoria Awards

When: Wednesday 20th November

Where: Melbourne Recital Centre

The annual Music Victora Awards are back and will feature performances on the night from Vika and Linda Bull, Gordon Koang, Suldusk, Philly and Grand Salvo. Voting ends Friday 8th November, so get in quick here.

Andrew Scheps – Australian Tour

When: Wednesday 6th – Wednesday 20th November

Where:  QLD, NSW, VIC

World-renowned, multi-Grammy award-winning mix engineer and music producer Andrew Scheps in gracing Australian shores this month for a string of Speaking Events (FREE) and Mixing Seminars.
