Superbooth 23: UK Manufacturer PWM Instruments, unveil the Mantis! An Analog Hybrid Duophonic synth with two driftable digital oscillators, dual filters and an analogue signal path designed by the late Chris Huggett.
The Mantis has a dual filter and two analog signal paths that make it duophonic. The oscillators are calculated numerically on power-up using and then move into the analog domain, where it is digitally controlled.
The Mantis mixer allows users to balance between the two oscillators where you can, add noise, and ring mod. It provides a deep source modulation section, two envelopes with a sustain fall that is unique in its own way. It comes with 100 factory patches and 100 user patches and also includes a few digital effects such as reverb and chorus.
