If you are into LFO’s, High Pass Filters, VCO’s, DCO’s, Envelopes, DSP, Aftertouch, ADSR’s, CV’s, MIDI, Arpeggiators or simply just keys, then this event will certainly trigger your Multi-Timbral. As part of Melbourne Music Week, Australian Musician, MESS and PBS 106.7 the inaugural Melbourne Synth Festival will be held at The Meat Market from Friday 23rd November – Sunday 25th November.

No only will you be able to see, try and buy the most innovative new products in music technology but you will also be able take part in workshops, seminars and performances run by tastemakers of Melbourne’s cutting edge electronic scene. Patrons can explore the world of analogue and digital synthesis and talk directly with suppliers, retailers & builders of some of today’s most innovative synthesiser and electronic music products.

The exhibitors will be presenting products for you to see, try or buy from some of the world’s biggest brands at Australia’s biggest music technology Pop Up store, including;
1010 Music, Arturia, Avid, Behringer, Bitwig, Buchla, Elektron, Ferrofish, Focusrite, Korg, M-Audio, Moog, Native Instruments, Nord, Novation, Pioneer, Pittsburgh Modular, Propellerhead Reason, Reference, RME, Roland, Steinberg, Teenage Engineering, Tendrils (eurorack), Traktor, Waldorf, Yamaha, and many more.

Inaugural Melbourne Synth Festival 2018

On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November Some of Melbourne’s best electronic artists including Sadiva, Ehsan Gelsi, ACM Sergio Selim, Amelia Arsenic, The Oddness, and Chiara Kickdrum, will be performing live over the #MSF2018 weekend.

And don’t pass on the opportunity to visit MESS collection either, as not only will you expand your knowledge around the synthesis but you will get to experience some of the most iconic vintage synthesiser gear ever manufactured.
