You asked and Korg listened. The ARP 2600 Full Size is back, again, for a limited release! The legendary ARP 2600 Full Size synthesiser comes back for an exceptionally short run due to great demand after the previous re-issue in 2020.
A replica of the 1970s original, the Korg ARP 2600 FS is handcrafted in Japan and includes USB and DIN-style MIDI connections, XLR audio outputs, plus the improved ARP 3620 Duophonic Keyboard with an added arpeggiator / sequencer. This iconic synth comes in a custom-branded hard shell case, complete with casters.
One of the first semi-modular synthesisers to enter the market was the original ARP 2600, created by Dennis Colin and distributed by Alan R. Pearlman’s ARP Instruments. Legendary musicians like Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Pete Townshend, Orbital, and Nine Inch Nails have utilised it, and it even created the sound for R2-D2 in Star Wars.
If you missed out on the initial re-release, this is your chance to obtain one of the most coveted and in-demand instruments from the vintage synthesiser era.
Korg is distributed by CMI Music & Audio in Australia
