Universal Audio have updated their UAD software to version 9.15, adding a slew of new features and performance improvements, as well as two tasty new UAD plugins: AMS DMX Digital Delay/Pitch Shifter and the Manley Tube Preamp.
The AMS DMX Digital Delay & Pitch Shifter plug-in is an authentic recreation of the 1978 hardware classic made famous by artists such as Joy Division and Nirvana. Its double-tracking effect was especially loved by artists like Prince, Radiohead and Phil Collins.
This is a UAD exclusive plug-in and offers several enhancements compared with the original hardware like tempo sync and Dual VCO mode. It’s also a great companion to the existing AMS RMX16 Reverb UAD plug-in.
The Manley Tube Preamp plug-in provides the harmonically rich sound of this classic Class-A tube mic pre. It’s also Unison-enabled for unparalleled authenticity when used with UA Apollo interfaces.
Other improvements with UAD software version 9.15 include Apple Silicon M1 Rosetta compatibility, and high-resolution Retina display graphics for a huge list of existing plugins.
