BIGSOUND 2019: Discover The Future of Music
Noisegate are extremely proud to announce that we’re teaming up with Ableton to co-present a series of presentations and workshops at BIGSOUND 2019, Australia’s biggest music industry focused event, happening from 3-6 September. Grab your tickets now at www.bigsound.org.au/tickets
Ableton and Noisegate will host daily demonstrations for BIGSOUND Purple Pass holders, with practical tips for creating and performing with Ableton Live and Push, on-stage and in the studio. This includes presentations, a more intimate workshop, and a track deconstruction with BIGSOUND performing artist, Milan Ring.
In this 60 minute presentation Sydney-based singer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist, producer and engineer, Milan Ring performs her song “Step Back” and will dive into her Ableton Live session to deconstruct the track. She’ll share some of her favourite music production tricks and talk in detail about the tools she likes to use when composing.
Largely, our focus will revolve around using Ableton Live 10 to evolve your music from the studio to the stage, working with hardware instruments, band members and song stems. We’ll also be running a more intimate and interactive Workshop with Ableton Live and a slew of hardware instruments, demonstrating how your workflow can work for you, no matter the instrument or genre. Our team — including Ableton certified trainer Tristan Malloch — will be on hand to handle any queries.
Punters will also have the opportunity to WIN, with one attendee walking away with a free copy of Ableton Live 10 Suite!
More details and scheduling info to come.
