If you’ve ever wanted to get into building pedals but found the learning curve too steep or the price of all the equipment and materials too much of a hurdle, here’s a great opportunity for Melbourne residents. The Yarra Libraries council initiative are hosting 2 Build Your Own Fuzz Pedal workshops at North Fitzroy Library, for ages 16-25, on Tuesday March 19 and Tuesday March 26.
The three hour sessions aim to help attendees learn the essential skills of pedal building; painting enclosures, identifying circuits, developing layouts, breadboard basics, circuit testing, soldering and fault finding. And of course, you get to keep your DIY pedal at the end.
Being a free program, it’s hard to imagine spots will last long — so get to it quick smart, register here to participate!
