Superbooth 23: The Super Gemini, a 20-voice, dual-layer, binaural synth with polyphonic aftertouch, is the latest synth from British synth manufacturer UDO and from what we know, is that the Super Gemini continues to further blur the lines between analogue and digital synths.
There’s not a lot of information but what we do know is that the Super Gemini features 20 voices of polyphony, bi-timbral, a simple user interface, and a special custom ribbon sensor. Wave morphing, bi-directional sync, cross, and ring modulation are all sources for digital hardware oscillators. An entirely analogue signal path is then used to transmit this. Along with a sequencer and extensive effects, there is plenty of room for storing your patch creations.
At a Glance:
The Super Gemini has 64 interchangeable waveforms, 256 performance and patch slots, and 16 sequences that can be securely saved and edited. The synthesiser has dual synth-control levels that give the user control over a variety of timbral layers. Additionally, it has a true-stereo signal path that gives you the ability to produce incredibly dynamic spatial sounds.
The Super Gemini is made of steel and aluminium, and it has a variety of high-quality mechanical controls.
