Adamson Systems Engineering in conjunction with CMI Audio delivered two days of intensive training to 20 attendees from around Australia at Scene Change‘s brand new premises in Artarmon NSW. Adamson certified trainer Mario Ahrberg was flown in exclusively from Hamburg (GER) to deliver a practical approach to measuring room data and interpolating it for system design using Adamson’s proprietary modelling software known as Blueprint AV.
Day 2 of the course involved learning the methods of configuring Lab Gruppen amplifiers and Lake Audio processing, leveraging load smart software for system measurement and acoustic verification, concluding with system phase and time alignment to ensure audio is optimised. The final section of the course required all trainees to actively participate in flying and ground stacking the Adamson S10 rig.
Adamson Applied Certification Training is a foundation level course. Expanding on this knowledge base students are empowered to undertake Adamson’s level 2 course known as Advanced Certification. All Advanced Certification graduates then have the opportunity to apply and become an Adamson Certified System Engineer (ACSE).
Given Adamson’s growing technical rider demand on the world stage, this qualification provides people with the opportunity to tour internationally on Adamson touring sound systems, making these accreditations a highly valuable asset to current and potential employers using Adamson loudspeaker systems.
Seeing the success of level 1 training, CMI Audio hopes to announce level 2 training, stay tuned for more information in 2018.
