Arturia have once again added to their ever-expanding software library of ‘effects you’ll actually use’ with a trio of tasty new modulation plugins. The ‘3 Modulation FX you’ll actually use’ bundle pays tribute to three classic hardware effect processors covering chorus, phaser and flange varieties, all delivered with the typical Arturia flair and attention to detail, as well as new features for a modern workflow.
Here’s the official description from Arturia:
“These are no ordinary modulation plugins; they’re circuit-accurate emulations of time-tested classics, capturing every tonal nuance of their hardware predecessors and adding a wealth of advanced new features.
Stunning analog chorus, rich multi-mode flanger and swirling dual phaser – bathe your mix in mesmerising colour.
One of the most sought-after effects units of all time. Simple 4-mode operation for beautifully smooth chorus at the touch of a button, complete with perfectly-emulated BBD warmth.
Flanger BL-20 – Advanced modulation powerhouse
Flanger but not as you know it. A rare studio gem that goes from faint stereo width to out-of-this-world compound modulation in no time, fortified with analog character.
Phaser BI-TRON – Space Age Double Phaser
An elusive dual phaser that oozes boutique guitar pedal charm. Two phasing circuits, advanced routing options and a warm, distinctly detailed sound that’s set to stun.”
We took the new effects for a quick spin, check it out below!
3 modulation FX you’ll actually use will be available as a boxed copy in Australia in October.
Expect to pay a street price of AUD$289
