Arturia has officially dropped V Collection 11, the latest update to its flagship suite of software instruments. With seven brand-new instruments, a major rework of their Augmented Series, and a new ‘Intro’ edition for newcomers, this feels like their most expansive and inclusive release to date.
The standout newcomers include Pure LoFi, a bit-crushing, warm-glitchy sound mangler built for LoFi heads, and Jup-8000 V, a nod to early-2000s supersaw bliss. It nails those euphoric, trance-leaning tones while offering modern tweaks for deep control.
There’s also MiniBrute V, which channels the unruly energy of the original Arturia MiniBrute hardware but with expanded polyphony and a built-in effects rack. It feels right at home next to the likes of Synthx V, a multitimbral softsynth inspired by the legendary ELKA Synthex.
And for something completely different, Augmented YANGTZE fuses traditional Chinese instrumentation with modern synthesis—ideal for composers looking to blend world textures with cinematic sound design.
The Augmented Series has quietly become one of the most unique parts of Arturia’s ecosystem, and version 2.0 brings a full overhaul. Augmented STRINGS, VOICES, BRASS, WOODWINDS, and GRAND PIANO now include updated sample libraries and factory banks. If you’ve slept on these hybrid acoustic-synth engines, now might be the time to jump in.
Long-time fans will also be happy to hear that SEM V has been totally rebuilt. Its trademark filter and envelopes remain, but with a smoother interface and expanded modulation tools that open it up to a much broader range of sounds.
For producers not ready to spring for the full V Collection, Arturia has launched V Collection Intro, a curated bundle of 10 essential instruments, including Mini V 4, DX7 V, Jun-6 V, and Stage-73 V, alongside Analog Lab Pro and two Augmented instruments. It’s a great entry point for musicians curious about the collection but not ready to go all-in.
It’s hard to ignore that Arturia is in a category all its own when it comes to instrument suites. With 45 plugins covering vintage analog, classic digital, keyboards, electro-acoustic sounds, and now cutting-edge hybrid instruments, V Collection 11 feels like the studio-in-a-box standard.
The inclusion of both household classics and left-of-centre curiosities makes this feel more like a toolbox for all genres rather than a retro-themed bundle. And with the addition of V Collection Intro, it’s clear Arturia is aiming to welcome even more producers, composers, and musicians into their ecosystem.
