Have you been craving those deliciously crunchy FM bass sounds that were everywhere in ’90s electronic music? Yamaha’s range of DX synths and early sampler racks like the 12bit Akai S900 gave the sounds of that era a distinctive fizz and character that many producers are starting to rediscover. So we took it upon ourselves to put together a completely native Ableton Live 10 instrument rack to help you Ableton users to scratch that itch.
Our Lofi FM Bass synth is made up of three tones: a gritty Operator synth patch, an Electric mallet-synth patch (set to harmonise a 5th up) and an extra grungey Tension patch. Each tone has a volume macro and a unique performance macro, as well as master hi-pass and lo-pass filter macros so it’s automation and performance ready.

Please note, rack requires Ableton Live 10 Suite.
