NAMM 2020: RedBeard Effects Get Gnarly with their New Honey Badger Octave Fuzz Pedal

Browse By

When Skindred’s guitarist Mikey Demus launched his own effect pedal company RedBeard Effects last year, many wondered what Mikey would bring to the table in an already oversaturated market. Well, Mikey has a ‘we don’t give a #[email protected]&%! attitude’ and subsequently Redbeard released their first pedal, the Red Mist MKIV overdrive/distortion pedal, with an emphasis on originality and handmade quality engineering that proved very popular. This mantra has continued on with their new release the HONEY BADGER Octave Fuzz.

Redbeard has taken the much-loved concept of the Octave Fuzz and gone crazy with it. If you’re a fan of deep down gnarly fuzz and dirty guitar/bass tones an octave down or even a second octave, then Honey Badger might interest you – particularly the  ‘Divide’ knob, which allows you to blend between 1-2 octaves below for that ‘brown note’ experience. The HONEY BADGER Octave Fuzz will ship in mid-March 2020.
