The EVO 16, a new 24-in, 24-out audio interface with eight pre-amps, HQ converters, smartgain function, and more, has been added to Audient’s EVO series, which already comprises of the EVO 4 and 8.

The Audient EVO 16 has 24 inputs and outputs, eight of which are powered by EVO preamps with 58dB gain. The EVO 16 is equipped with the unique Smartgain feature, which can regulate the input levels on all 8 channels at the touch of a button, in addition to state-of-the-art converter technology (121dB dynamic range).
It also has two optical inputs and outputs (ADAT/SPDIF), allowing the EVO 16 to be expanded at any moment. As a result, you can add up to 16 additional mic preamps or other suitable gear channels.
Also, there is a hi-res, full-color screen that gives you a full overview of your signals with an all-new motion UI control system. It allows real-time access to all functions of the device without having to look at the computer.
On the software side, it includes the EVO Mixer, which aids in the setup and routeing of inputs and outputs. It runs on both Mac OS X and Windows.
