New ESP/LTD Alexi Laiho Ripped and Hexed Signature Guitar Series

Alexi Laiho, a visionary who brought melody and flamboyance to metal music in the post-grunge and nu-metal eras, was one of the world’s most beloved and influential personalities in metal music. In Alexi’s remembrance, ESP has launched the final guitars created by the Children of Bodom/Bodom After Midnight frontman, which carry on his legacy adding to his Signature Series with the E-II Alexi Ripped, LTD Alexi Hexed, and LTD Alexi Ripped.

E-II Alexi Ripped

The E-II Alexi Ripped is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at a 25.5” scale. It features a three-piece thin u-shaped maple neck with a natural satin finish, alder body wings, and an ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers. It includes an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position, a ceramic high-gain pickup, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single-coil in the neck. It also includes an ESP MM-04 active boost switch, a preamp circuit with adjustable EQ settings with up to +18dB of boost. Includes high-end components such as Gotoh locking tuners, ESP strap locks, a double-locking Floyd Rose Original bridge, a volume control, an inset three-way pickup selector, and boost switch.

LTD Alexi Laiho Hexed

The LTD Alexi Hexed is offered in an offset V shape with neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale. It features a three-piece thin u-shaped maple neck with a natural satin finish, alder body wings, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers. Components on this guitar include Grover tuners, a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 bridge and a single EMG HZ F-H2 passive pickup with volume control. Available in Purple Fade finish with light purple pinstripes, with matching back and sides. Includes deluxe ESP hardshell case.

It features a three-piece thin u-shaped maple neck with a natural satin finish, alder body wings and a Macassar ebony fingerboard (scalloped from frets 19-24) with 24 extra-jumbo frets, sawtooth inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers. The LTD Alexi Ripped includes an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge position, as well as an EMG HZ S2 passive stacked single-coil in the neck. Components on this guitar include Grover tuners, a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 bridge, volume control and a three-way pickup selector. Available in Purple Fade Satin finish with painted black satin “ripped” pinstripes, with matching back and sides. Includes deluxe ESP hardshell case.
