Mackie SRT speakers are engineered with a raft of features to make it a robust entry into the PA market. The SRT comes in a 10, 12 and 15-inch boxes and these can be coupled with an 18-inch subwoofer. Each SRT has physics-based cooling – the ports are pointed towards the internal components so they are cooled as the woofer moves air around. This is an interesting feature which is not commonplace with PA designs.
The SRTs also have a built-in digital mixer with 3 band EQ per channel, stereo link capability, auto temperature monitoring and advanced impulse DSP. The advanced impulse DSP provides an even frequency response throughout their area of dispersion, a feature not found on other loudspeakers.
