Ever wanted to use your Push controller to do more than control Ableton? How about baking a cake, squeeze a lemon or do your washing? Well … unfortunately, that’s just not possible, however, Ableton Certified Trainer, DJ, Producer and all-round good dude Mr Ed Rollo has mapped Native Instruments’ Traktor 2 for use with Push 2, so you can use it to DJ with – WIKY WIKY SAYY WHAAAT??
The mapping allows you to control Traktor’s most essential functions like PLAY/PAUSE, CUE as well as jump to start and cue-point functions. You can also browse your track library and control effect parameters using Push’s encoders. What’s also super sweet and is VU metering reflected on Push’s pads whenever there is music playback. Boom.
