Tiptop Audio have announced ART an exciting set of modules and workflow for polyphonic music-making using the Eurorack synthesizer medium. In days past, you would need multiple sets of the same modules or creative workarounds to create polyphonic music, which as we all know, can be a costly exercise.
ART seeks to change this by introducing a new patch-cable design which allows multiple audio signals to pass through one cable to one of the modules, most of which use this new connector to increase the number of signal paths in the same module. Complete with poly-utility modules, poly-filters & more ART has the potential to open up the possibilities of Eurorack music-making even more.
Here’s what Tiptop Audio are saying:
Chords Melodies Harmony And Polyphony In Eurorack
Let’s just call it ART
ART takes the power of musical harmony and fully enables its potential in a hardware modular synthesizer. The new Polytip cable and connectors makes polyphonic patching effortless.
Solve old technical problems and creative flow stoppers to open up next level multi voice composition and sound design in Eurorack.
ART is a new set of ideas, a paradigm. At the heart of it is the new ART control signal. Building upon the potential of the new ART signal a new generation of modules that had never existed before are now coming to life and give breath to possibilities we could only dream of prior to that.
