Universal Audio has released two new plug-ins as part of their UAD SOFTWARE v9.9 for UA Audio Interfaces & UAD Accelerators, one in close collaboration with Capitol Studios aptly named Capitol Chambers and the other being the MKII version of the Tube-Tech CL 1B Compressor plug-in.
The Capitol Chambers Plug-in is an emulation of the legendary echo chambers housed in Capitol Studios which is located 30 feet below the iconic Capitol Tower in Los Angeles. The iconic echo chambers in these subterranean spaces are still considered the best echo chambers ever constructed and artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Beck and Muse have all used this legendary space throughout their careers. This emulation will certainly excite those of us who love to add dimension and lush ambiences to their tracks and productions.
They have also included the Tube-Tech CL 1B MkII plug-in developed by Softube which is an updated version of the iconic optical compressor and is commonly known as the preferred vocal compressor used by modern artists for pop, hip‑hop, and R&B.
