Snare Drum

In this video, we dig deep into snare drum mic placement, the usefulness of mic clamps and the relationship between top and bottom snare microphones. Much like the kick drum, the snare drum is another integral part of any drum kit set up and capturing the best sound possible of this drum can take your recordings or live sound to the next level. It also helps to have a nicely tuned drum to start with too.
