This one’s bound to make a lot of Eurorack modular people happy, Empress have announced the ZOIA Euroburo — a Eurorack module version of their incredible ZOIA pedal.
It features 4 CV ins and outs, a headphone jack, stereo ins and outs and MIDI jacks. The Euroburo will also come with an optional powered case if you’d prefer to use it standalone and prefer this layout to the traditional stompbox pedal format. We’re pretty light on details for this announce, but it appears as though it will feature all the functionality of the ZOIA, meaning you can use this module as a synth, sequencer, looper, multi fx unit — or all of the above.
We’re yet to get our hands on a ZOIA, but by all accounts It’s an incredibly deep and powerful unit (80+ different virtual modules are at your disposal , or you can make your own) — one that’s most rewarding for those who like to tinker.
There’s no webpage up for this unit yet, but you can find all the ZOIA details here and the announcement video of the Empress Euroburo below
