In a first for monolithic studio console manufacturer Solid State Logic (SSL), two audio interfaces have been announced, ideally suited for the home studio owner. Introducing the SSL 2 and SSL 2+.
From the company that changed the face of the mixing world forever with the release of their 4000 series consoles in the 1970s, SSL have continued to innovate throughout the subsequent decades. Now in 2020, SSL make their legendary sound available to personal and project studios with these two desktop sized audio interfaces, featuring class-leading microphone preamps, high-end monitoring and control, an SSL Production Pack software bundle and some of that magical 4K console vintage vibe via an analogue enhancement mode.
The 24-bit/192kHz conversion over USB brings high quality recording fidelity and detail, and the straight forward monitor control allows for seamless workflow whether you’re tracking and working solo with the SSL 2, or if you’re collaborating and taking advantage of the separate headphone mix capabilities of the SSL 2+. Both interfaces feature high quality components such as Neutrik connectors and Alps potentiometers, all this high-quality, high-powered goodness at very affordable price points respectively for both interfaces.
