Universal Audio has just released its latest audio interfaces, adding to their Volt series with two new 4-in/4-out affordable USB interfaces, the Volt 467P and Volt 4. From the team that brought you the game-changing Apollo interface, the Volt 476P and Volt 4 deliver superior studio sound quality for projects that require more inputs, with more character and tone than any USB interface in its class.
Is this your next audio interface? In this video, we reveal why we love the new Volt interfaces.
The Volt 476P is a desktop 4-in/4-out USB 2.0 audio interface with 4 analogue preamp mic/line combo inputs for professional audio conversion with individual built-in Vintage Mic preamps and selectable presets of the 76 Compressor circuit emulation for each input. Few sounds can compare to a vintage Universal Audio 610 tube preamp, the same preamp used to record everyone from Ray Charles to Van Halen. Volt 476P gives you the rich, full sound of this iconic UA preamp, thanks to its built-in tube emulation circuitry, a UA exclusive.
Other notable features on the 476P are the dual headphone amplifiers for separate monitoring when recording, a pair of monitor outputs and 4 line outputs for flexible output options.
The Volt 4 has 2 analogue preamp mic/line combo inputs also with individual built-in Vintage Mic preamp along with 2 x line inputs and as with the 476P, a pair of monitor outputs and 4 line outputs.
We see both as the perfect audio interfaces for creative collaborators who want to easily record audio projects with professional studio sound right into their Mac, PC, iPad, or iPhone and Volt just shows up, ready to capture your inspiration with a professional sound, courtesy of Universal Audio.
With the extra preamps on the 476P, this model is more suited to those who need the extra mic inputs for recording multiple instruments that require microphones at the same time.
There is a plethora of Included Software as well which comes bundled with both models, including:
System Requirements
Mac & PC
iPad & iPhone
