Universal Audio Release New Native UAD Plug-Ins, Bundles and Emulations

A number of Universal Audio’s renowned UAD analogue emulation plug-ins are now natively available for both Mac and Windows platforms and can be purchased separately without the need for UA hardware. Along with the Waterfall Rotary Speaker, a brand-new imitation of Leslie’s legendary rotary cabinet, the company has also unveiled three new bundles.

The three new plugin bundles are as follows – the Diamond Edition, Mix Edition, and Creative Addition – which contain 28, 23, and 19 UAD plug-ins respectively and all of which are currently selling at a lower introductory price.

Purchases of its select UAD plugins include both an Apollo Realtime and UAD-2 version, which runs accelerated on Apollo audio interfaces and UAD-2 hardware, and a UAD Native version for Mac and Windows.

Waterfall Rotary Speaker

In addition to the newly released native versions of current UAD plug-ins, Universal Audio has also announced the arrival of the Waterfall Rotary Speaker, which claims to be the most accurate Leslie Type 147 cabinet emulation currently on the market. The company carefully positioned vintage microphones to capture the instrument’s distinctive movement and tonal range while modelling the entire circuit of the device, including the valve power amp stage.
