If you’ve been following this channel, you might have noticed I’m a bit of a Native Instruments Maschine fan. I’ve done tonnes of videos and tutorials and I receive lots of questions asking for tips or other ways that I like using it in my workflow. I thought I whip up a video that runs through some things that people may not be aware of, as well as things that might have been forgotten or lost in the ether.
A big one is how to use Maschine+ as a controller for the Maschine software. Sure, if you buy Maschine+ you are buying it because you want to make beats without a computer, but the fact that Maschine+ comes with the Maschine software and all the sounds samples and effects that come along with it, it’s nice to have that option when you inevitably want to take your track to the laptop.
Another favourite of mine is being able to quickly drag and drop patterns as audio loops from Maschine software and directly into any audio DAW. This is an awesome trick if you ask me, as it’s a comply sinch to whip up grooves and melodies from Maschine and expand on the audio idea later in my DAW for further processing.
